2006 - 2010: Buenos Aires

In 2006, Patricia made the move to nearby Buenos Aires, Argentina, in order to study jazz and broaden her musical horizons. Once settled, she participated in a jazz workshop led by saxophonist Ricardo Cavalli, also, in a jazz ensemble led by saxophonist Carlos Lastra and began studying harmony with pianist Miguel Marengo as well as studying saxophone and improvisation with saxophonists Ramiro Flores, Martin Pantyer and Ada Rave.

2010 - 2014: Manuel de Falla Conservatory

In 2010, Patricia was accepted as a student at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, subsequently completing a degree, Superior Technique in Jazz, in 2014. During her studies, she was involved in several projects as both saxophonist and flutist, including the Big Band Saxopatas, Chicago Big Band, Manuel de Falla Conservatory Big Band as well as the conservatory's nonet which performed the music of Miles Davis' Birth of the cool.

2010 - 2014: Performances & sessions

Notable activities during this period include performances at the Banfield Theatre, ND Ateneo Theatre, Hard Rock, The Southern Auditorium, Faena Hotel, MALBA, Jazz Festival at the Adan Buenos Ayres Cultural Centre, Boris Jazz Club, as well as several jam sessions at the Buenos Aires International Jazz Festival. As a session musician, she has performed with several musicians like Daniel Maza (Uruguay), Gunhild Carling (Sweden), Sergio Dawi, Willy Crook, Alejandro Carbajal (Uruguay) and recording on several albums, DVDs, short films, theatre, and productions.

2014 - 2015: Returning to Montevideo

Upon completion of her studies, Patricia returned to her hometown of Montevideo where she continued studying flute with Pablo Somma. Since her return, she performed alongside several international acts and artists at some of Uruguay's top venues. Working as a flutist, Patricia recorded in the composition Rio de Lonjas (composed by Federico Costa), which received the third prize from the Ministry of Culture in the Candombe Category.

2015 - 2016 Brazil &USA

Both in 2015 and 2016, she participated in several workshops and masterclasses as Brazilian Popular Music Offices (Curitiba - Brazil), Saxophone and Improvisation Masterclass with Vittor Alcántara (Brazil) and Marcelo Martins (Brazil), Improvisation Masterclass with Ben Van den Dunguen (Holland), and received the FONAM scholarship to attend the SIM workshop at the Brooklyn Conservatory, NYC. After her enriching experience in New York, she renewed her focus and curiosity, exploring and working on her own compositions.

2017: Netherlands

In 2017 Patricia settled in the Netherlands to continue her composition studies with Michael Moore and improvisation with Floriaan Wempe. She was a member of several groups and performed on different stages and jam sessions in Amsterdam, The Hague, and Rotterdam, as well as working for the production company Projazz. In turn, she took classes at the EPM (School of Brazilian Popular Music - Rotterdam) and was part of the North Sea Round Town circuit within the framework of the prestigious North Sea Jazz festival. In the city of The Hague, she played after the Chris Potter show at the Cuttin Edge jazz festival and was part of the musicians' photographic exhibition.

2018 - 2020: Global Jazz

In 2018, Patricia returned to Uruguay and organized the "Jazz Five Quintet" with local jazz musicians and saxophonist Brendan Mc Govern (Seattle, USA) as a special guest. In 2019 she was invited to play at the Valparaiso International Jazz Festival (Chile) and due to the good repercussions, later she returned to Chile and performed ten shows with some of the best local jazz musicians. During this year, she worked on her music and recorded her first album "Wanderlust". In December, she led the female quintet called "Naima" performing at the Montevideo Jazz Festival -Solis Theatre- organized by Jazz Tour. At the same time, Patricia won the FEFCA scholarship to study in NYC.

2022: New York city

In March, Patricia traveled to New York with a FEFCA (MEC) scholarship to study with legendary saxophonist Rich Perry. In turn, she performed on many stages in NYC, participated in the "Washington Women in Jazz" Festival in DC, played at Norwalk Art Space (Connecticut), and gave a Master Class on Uruguayan music for the "Elmont Memorial High School ( Long Island, NYC) with a final concert with the students.

2020-2021: Worldwide Sax Alliance

At the beginning of COVID, Patricia founded the “Worldwide Sax Alliance”, an international non-profit organization with the purpose of disseminating and promoting the work of musicians from all over the world. At the same time, she founded the collective "Mujeres de Iberoamérica en el jazz" and participated in the eleventh edition of the festival "Washington Women in jazz" (virtual) supported by Ibermusicas and the Ministry of Culture of Uruguay. In 2021, Patricia won the “Best Uruguayan jazz album award” with her first album “WANDERLUST”.

2023: Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay

In April, she presented the "Tribute to Dexter Gordon" celebrating International Jazz Day at the Teatro "Casa de la Cultura" (Maldonado) and for the first time she presented it at "Prezz Jazz Club" (Buenos Aires). In August, she was invited to play at the “Sixth International Meeting of Saxophones” at the Sala Verdi (Montevideo), and in September, she was invited to participate in the "Distrito Jazz Festival" (Porto Alegre, Brazil) and "Santa Cruz Jazz & Blues Festival" (Santa Cruz, Brazil).

2024: Patagonia Argentina

In April 2024, Patricia traveled to Patagonia, Argentina, to record her second album entitled "Fuego". On this occasion, she recorded it at "RAG studio" accompanied by the Trio del Fin del Mundo and Julia Inés Ponce (guest). During the recording, a mini documentary was filmed registering the entire process of the album. Fuego is available on all digital platforms.
